Consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze with the credit bureaus. Change passwords and enable MFA on affected accounts.

Australia

Contact IDCARE for free identity and cyber support. Report the scam to Scamwatch.

If Medicare, passport, or driver licence details were shared, contact the relevant agencies promptly.

Create an FTC Identity Theft Report and a personalized recovery plan if identity documents or SSN were involved.

Report internet crime to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. Use only the official ic3.gov site.
